Ha! ha! Sarge Wen reported that a bobtail came into the success garden and hid under the wheelbarrow. It is half the size of the wheelbarrow compartment! Bobtails are wild lizards found in the drier part of Australia. Hmm.. Wonder if they bite.

Better start blogging

Got feedback that the indianboyfriend is taking a holiday... Which is true but then someone's said even on holiday he will blog. Hmm...no rest for the wicked. Took metro here and very good. People give up seat for mybakuteh and the indianboyfriend.
But maybe no longer. Last night Kalediscop3 dyed mybakuteh's hair. Now black black like 30 years old woman。Only way out is to wear a burqa.
Despite all the middle eastern yammies we have been treated to, it is always nice to have a hot cooked meal. This is what we had for dinner last night. Ha! Ha! Today is Deepavali and it is a working day for the 3 million Indians here!

Fishing in Dubai

It's quite different from Perth. Firstly there is no lunch but also no strong waves. The sea is like a lake. The boat is smaller and they use a spinner reel which is easier to handle. No size limits. And they even bait for you. So your hands are clean. Do not expect
Big fish as I think the place is overfished. Good thing is there is no problem with sea sickness. The fishing ended late and we had KFC for lunch. The lunch deal was cheap. 4 piece with bread and whipped potato only 15 dirhams - $5.
Had home cooked hokkien mee yesterday night. Feeling very busy in Dubai with lots if things to do everyday - thanks to kalediscop3.
And there was something from Spain for the indianboyfriend. Although kalediscop3 detest bull fights- there is Bull tee for him.

Good memory

Ha!ha! Living on the 50th floor has its set back... Especially when you forget something after leaving the house. This is what happens today, when Kaledoscop3 forgot her metro card after reaching the station. But no Argo as we are retirees on holiday. Pic shows mybakuteh and kaledoscop3 walking a second time to the station.

Dubai Metro

Their MRT runs to the airport and there are only two lines. But the first carriage is gold class - fares are twice as much. Then the next one is for ladies only. It is hard to get a seat. Before you get up, people are already moving to position in. But mybakuteh had a few kind people giving up their seats for her. Cars are a steal here and are all high powered. They are usually 2,000 to 5,000 cc and are monsters. But they are cheap ie $25k each and petrol is only 50 cts a litre. Highway speeds are up to 140 and crossing the highway may cost you your life. Kaleidoscop3 apartment is on the 50 floor with great views and swimming pool with towels and warm bubbling jacuzzi. No need to walk far to the pool some more.
