Pa See

Ha!ha! Passed the final assessment today. It was a toughie but managed to scrape through. Hallelujah. Praise The Lord. Now it's Dubai. Sarge Wen says not to go on a shopping spree as it is do-buy.
Alamak. This morning went to airport and pang sai. Then saw a blackberry phone. Think it belonged to a German Traveller so passed it to security.
Remember when you bang sai, bei sai bang your phone there.

Mr Fix it All

Ha!ha! If you need any job done in the house, Mr Fix-it-All is the answer. He got Halt Chor's mirror mounted in a jiffy. Of course with the help of a 好帮手 aka the indianboyfriend.

Alamak. Forgot to take picture of the food last night. But saw this family pic on the wall of the bedroom. It was taken at a time when Sarge Wen was not born yet!

Beautiful Saturday

It was just a great day to start off  FT with dear Hannah and heading for No 4 mee ( the second time this week!). It will cause Sarge Wen's muscle to twitch and spasm again for sure. But the pelbians with us chose NOT to eat No 4 but something else!
Last night's dinner was filled with goodies. The crown dish is Poh Choo's durian sago  pudding made from real gula melaka and durian.

Heard the fresh durian costs $10. And the spread was too overwhelming.

Uncle Hin Weng came up with an authentic cereal prawn dish.

And the roast duck was thick ande fleshy dripping with juices.

Every one was engrossed in eating throughout the evening.

While of course the children are more concerned with play.

Hmm wonder when the next feast will be?

Weekend Hannah

Ha! Ha! Dear Hannah looks better today. Woke up and is whipping up brekky for Daddy. And she got a new toy- a Bethoven piano. And see her walk round the house. And she can recognise and say Turtle in the story book. And duck, and dog, and star!
And look at that tomahawk hairdo.

Pa See

Ha!Ha! Went one hour early for exam yesterday. Alamak, assessment supposed to be one hour but finished withinn 20 mins. Assessor says the project was very good and gave the indianboyfriend a pa see!!!!
So he gave himself a treat - went to Tiong Bahru Plaza and ate the famous Mee Siam.  Very good really.
Then got home for another treat - home fried oh luay.

This time very authentic as mybakuteh uses real frozen "oh". But as they came from China- she overcooked it for safety reasons! But still very good.
So happy that got pa see that this morning went to see No 4. Lucky got open. Then bought home the famous tao hwee from the hawker centre. Alamak.. there everything queue one.
Call Apple help desk and they are really good. Very patient and go with you step by step. Then she told the indianboyfriend at the end of the call that the ipad is out of warranty and technical support. Cost is $49 per call but she say this last one she will waive it. Heng ah.. that is why the indianboyfriend is buying the minipad - can be a useful camera on the move instead of holding up the ridiculouly large ipad. But don;t know why pre-order is still not opened today as advertised.
Can smell the ayam siyo from the kitchen as MasterChef myabkuteh is preparing the dish for tonight's dinner at Potong Pasir. And the weekends ... prepare for the last exam on Tuesday.

Hannah FT

Surprise FT with Hannah in the afternoon with Mummy. Dear Hannah looks a little drowsy from the sickness but as usual put up a brave smile. Mummy says she can talk now - mostly the monosyllable words. And she is walking around the house!
