Avatar by the Bay

The report card for Gardens by the Bay is 10/ 10. It is just an amazing piece of architecture design. We took the works - OCBC walk, the two conservatories. And it was worth every cent of it. It was a perfect day as it was cloudy and cool. Actually you can go to the park without paying a cent as they are opened at 5 am and close at 2 am. Take a picnic lunch with you as food there is quite pricey. So good bye to Henderson wave etc. This place has everything and enough space to tire you.
This is a preview of the Flower Dome where mediterranean plants grew.
The soil is so fertile that the trees are pregnant! There is an Australian section where we saw the flowers in our house.
We are on the OCBC walkway and the supertrees look like a scene from Avatar movie. Think the place will be fabulous at night when the lights come on.
This is not even on the walkway. It is the entrance to the Avatar park.
And this is the lake near the entrance. The side is well lined with walking boards and a perfect place to stroll.

Hmm think we are behaving more and more like tourists, snapping pictures here and there. Well more pics tomorrow but here is a video trailer to tease you.
How to get there? No problems... just jump on the circle line and go to Bayfront station. You can't miss it ( or should I say you can't miss the casino). Alternately, you can sit the North- South line to Marina Bay and change to the circle line for one stop to Bayfront.
We spent 3 hours there and it was every minute well spent. After going here, you don't want to go to the Botanical Gardens anymore. What's more they are having a satay club relocated there by the third quarter.

Tomorrow go Melaka and eat perankan food and chendol!
Friday FT Hannah from Melaka- hotel got wifi.
