More of Gardens by the Bay

First thing first - dear Hannah smiling again just before lunch and getting ready to say grace!
Not only the durians are up ( or down?) but so are our national flag in preparation for National Day!
This is inside the Flower Dome where the climate is Mediterranean. Wonder if they increase the temperature during the summer months.

Believe this is the baobab tree found in Aussieland and Africa. There is also the interest Ghost tree with twining branches.
More belly bottom trees...

The cacti re amazing ... have all kind of curious blooms.
See what I mean!
A paranomic view of the inside of Dome. Can bring a book to read or take a nap in aircon comfort! There is also a French restuarant inside here.
Ha! When it comes to food, highly recommend you pack a sandwich and a drink which you can enjoy anywhere in the park. The only food row is new the Supertrees. And watch it! The tim sum and the Local Favours are pricing. We ate hor fun ( one of the best she has tasted says mybakuteh) and the nasi lemak ( can challenge Adams road) but the total bill came up to $30! Look at the ice kopi - comes in the old traditional metal cups!
And there is no shortage of creativity. Even the lights in the restaurant are shaped like supertrees. Tomorrow it will be the Forest Dome. And here is a preview to whet your apettite.
Ha!Ha! Just saw the durian seller downstairs. He has giant yellow yellow durians for sale. Will have to check the letter-box this afternoon for sure!
