Good Old Melaka

Ha! Ha! Rained all night but the journey to Melaka went smoothly. No jam except the jam tarts was seen. Alamak. Checked into the inexpensive boutique hotel and they gave orange juice as welcome drink and cold towels! It's the Wow experience as they don't even do it in the Equatorial. Immediately we dashed off the bus to a peranakan restaurant. Had the Baku jungle twinning veg and we washed the meal down with the Melaka chendol. Then it was a three hour massage for the indianboyfriend, while the rest went shopping after an one hour footie! Then we spotted the buffet dinner at Makota Hotel. Wah, eat everything there. They even have lo bak with the hei ko. Got self service ice kachang also.Of course no trip is complete without a pressie for dear Hannah. And back at hotel, got free good wifi in room and cable tv! Tomorrow? More massage! Oh saw Seoul garden eat all you can eat - only $20 ringgit errr blush for senior citizens ( thus group still has strong sharp teeth). So earmarked for lunch. Brekky tomorrow? Malaysian old time kolo mee!
