Ha! We got to go Raffles town club western restaurant and ate the member eat and guest get free set meal.
Mybakuteh very clever to order. Got the baked oysters for appetizer.
And the lobster Ronaldo or Roneta for the main course. And for desert, she chose the Show plate which was a show and tell.
It has choc cake, strawberry, tiramasu, sorbee and the lot for two persons. Like going to a buffet and piling it up on a plate. But very paiseh man. When the waiter asked mybakuteh whether she wants coffee, she says no. Then we were told it was part of the buffet, we all said YES!!! And the cost of the meal for two? $40.66 cts. We had plenty of vouchers so the cash portion was 66 cts. The main cost of the meal was bus No 320. I had a smart taxi driver! The car stopped outside the entrance, and the meter read $6.00 as before. Then he suddenly acclerate the car a metre forward and it clicked $6.20. He must know the meter was about to flip!!! Must commend him for his craftiness even if it is only 20 cts.
Anyway, it was a really nice meal. The best part was the waiter gave us back the discount card which means another trip for sure soon! But what did the indianboy eat? Escargot for appetiser!
The snails were Wonderful! It has been rainy for the whole of yesterday. Halt chor sent me an email saying July will have five Fridays, five Saturdays and five Sundays. This happens only once in 832 years! And she said this year is the year of 1.

Last night we had the Magnum double caramelle crave. The indianboyfriend could not take it and cycled to Fairprice to buy. When we ate it at 9 pm, the magnum advertisement came out with the girl running barefooted over the car tops. Ha!Ha! That is empathy as she bit into the ice-cream. The good news is that there are four more left in the pack!
The weather is clear this morning and we are off to Chong Pang again.
