Dear Hannah is better!

Ha! Ha! FaceTime Hannah this morning and sighed a relief she is on her way to recovery. She looks well but no smiles yet so it will take a day or two more. MaMa so happy that she went for manicure and pedicure this morning. We the explored the shopping centre and ate again for the third time at the cozy spot. Made a lucky find - the game of thrones season 2 in original DVD! Went for sunset horse riding on the beach. All bluff one. Say ride through ricefields but actually on the main road with rice fields on both sides. Then also say the best part was to have feet submerged when crossing deep water. The horses kept to the dry beach all the time. But mybakuteh fell from the horse when a stray dog barked and frightened the horse. She hung from the stirrup unhurt except for bruises on the top of her feet. Luckily found koyot in the mini mart - believe it or not the name is koyot! But no medicine for both of us with the side effect of the hour riding - ka Ching Tia.
No trip is complete without buying something for dear Hannah. So mybakuteh chose some Bali tees.
I say man, Friday's New Paper featured Kaledoscop3 beach wedding. Had some very nice pics.
So ended our final night with another round of magnum - this time Choc truffle and hazelnut- they sure got variety here.

Hannah in the morning

Praise the Lord, the fever is gone and dear Hannah is now more alert. Please continue to pray for her and her parents. Notice how happy the grandparents are.

Two jellyfish

Ha! Ha! Came back to hotel yesterday and found key was lost. Reception just said pay for the cost of duplicate and the man went out to make the key. In a couple of minutes, the new key was ready. Think must have slipped out of trousers pocket while lounging on the sofa during lunch. Oh yes, we went back to the mall restuarant yesterday and drank coconut juice and chendol, watching the waves roll in. Morning started with a walk to the beach. Low tide so could not jump in. Then it was a body scrub for the indianboyfriend and a new hair do for mybakuteh. But she says in Bali, the wash have no head scrub and massage. After lunch and lazing in the sofa seat enjoying the free wifi, it was massage again - oil massage for the indianboyfriend and footie for mybakuteh. Soon we'll be jellyfish for sure. And it was time for the indianboyfriend to make the historic jump into the pool - the first after 3 days. In the evening, went back to the mall restaurant and found the lost key - don't think they will give a refund.
Called Lta Ennoying and learnt that Dear Hannah is still sick but better. They had to bring her to the emergency unit as the medicine prescribed by the GP was ineffective. Praise the Lord for his healing touch!
Managed to Ft kaledoscop3 too. Her curtains are wonderful. The room is so dark that you can hardly see her on the screen. Gave her a video tour of he wonderful our hotel was - powerful aircon, cold frig, free wifi, spacious room with balcony, shady landscaped garden and wonderful large pool. Wonder why could not impress her.
Tomorrow it's face time with Hannah - if she is not up to it then with her Daddy.

Barong Dance

Forgot to mention we went yesterday to watch the Boring ... Oops I mean the Barong Dance. After reading the English guide, we still could not figure out the plot. The Japanese guy next to us literally fell into a deep sleep.

Pray for dear Hannah's quick recovery

The sad news we had yesterday was that Hannah's fever is getting no better. Hence no FT.It hung like a dark cloud over us as we went to Kintamani .A private SUV came and picked us up punctually at 8.30 am. Besides the hopeless souvenir shops at Celuk and Batuan, we found tempaksiring quite interesting. The indianboyfriend rented a sarong and entered the purification spring to take a dip... Refreshing cold. Then we walked through the valley of bargaining outside the spring. There were rows and rows of shops selling the same thing. The t-shirt started of at 70k rupiah but we got it for 25k but it went down to 20k at the next shop and by the time we reached Kintamani, it was 15k. We ate a spectacular Indonesian buffet lunch with the volcano Batul in view at Kintamani. We ate until we literally could not move. Mybakuteh ate two bowls of the kueh lopez- wonderful sticky rice ( not compacted) with self help grated coconut and gula melaka. Then we visited the Luwak Coffee plantation and they showed us the blooming coffee plants and the
Luwak which looked like a cat. They also showed how they separated the seeds from the pooh. Luwak coffee is the world's most expensive coffee. $5 million rupiahs per kg. To sample one cup,it would cost us 70k rupiahs! The last stop was the tegalallang rice terraces. Imagine having coffee houses on the opposite side for silly tourists to savour the coffee and look at the rice terraces. Back at the hotel, it was back to the daily footie. Mybakuteh could not eat dinner so we went to the minimart and got to cups of instant mee - very tasty as one was served dry one! The nice staff in the shop prepared them for us. We are beginning to like our stay. Unlike Phuket, everything is so convenient and cheap! And no thunderstorms. We will try the sunset dinner routine today!
Pray for God's healing hand on dear Hannah!

Sipping Coconut on the Beach in the Sunset

Walau. Went to this halo spa for two hour complimentary massage yesterday.Really spa style. Read the menu and found it was priced at US65! Never mind some more - not suppose to have free personal pick up ( since free) but took it and they provided unknowingly - poor administration. Afternoon - went to Discovery Mall and found idyllic place for lunch. Soft padded cushions on sofa dining set and overlooking the sea! Can hear waves pounding. Then walked back to hotel and saw 4 massage spas at the entrance. We both did a footie and facial. Think we will be jellyfish by Sat! Then it was complimentary dinner at Jimbaran. This place is not to be missed. Sitting on sandy beach ( digging toes into the fine sand in the sunset and watching the planes land. Then did the same trick - got both way personal transfers without charge. Wah Drinking coconut in the sunset - that is life. Check Internet ( hotel got free room wifi) and found the best was Menega near Four Seasons hotel side but taxi driver will always divert you to pricier north part to get commissions.
Read sad news about cousin Kong Hee of City Harvest being arrested. Internet very remarkable - Asia one sends breaking news and Straits Times can be downloaded daily. Can check Toto also! Today is full day at volcano Kintamani! Oh yes, Magmum only 10k rupees! Finally poor dear Hannah is sick and had vomited in school yesterday. Pray for her speedy recovery!

Deja Vu

Ha! Ha! Back in Bali but this time ride to hotel only ten minutes. Also no private pool. The pick up man displayed such a big sign that we spotted him straightaway. So despite arriving at 10 pm did not sleep until 1 am. Actually want to sleep but suddenly saw Games of Thrones season 2 appearing! Got a view of the ugly Brieene at last!
Saw nice pictures of holland reception. Didn't know holland got lalang grass also. And sister still look so sexy man !
Hmm.. Program today? Got 2 hour free massage and free jimbaran seafood dinner.
