Ha!Ha! It was double happy celebration last night. Angela bought the perfect cake which was all eaten up save one last slice. The waiter offered us a birthday song and candles but it was a no go. Then the nice waitress asked me at the end of the dinner, why so low profile! It's not so much the fanfare but the family who is there!
The signature dish was the lobster longevity noodles which was really long! There were Angela and Wen who strategize how to maximise on the lobster.
And Lins who wondered how much the lobster cost.
And Xian who just focus on eating the lobby and her Mum concerned we should Save the Lobby.
Kim and En who wondered whether the waitress washed her hands.
And dear Justin who rushed in like the Rabbit in Alice inWonderland and said, "busy, busy, busy" - and he was soon busy again eating. Said he did not like plastic and wanted to concentrate on emergencies. Ha!Ha! saw his black dream car after the dinner. Two plus a rear hidden door - very stylo man.
Think the number is 1390 for number lovers- you know what I mean.
And mybakuteh who wondered how much higher the waitress had to pull the noodles.
And pressie time. Has a timely bunning gift card from Lins which the indianboyfriend will use to buy a tree loper for the trees outside the road! Then an unique word game called bananagrams from Lta Ennoying. Must not forgot the Aussie currency ang poh from Halt Chor. And the last a letter from Land Transport - chu chi twa -a fine for speeding. Guess the car was so nice, they could not resist photo-ing it.
But Subway brought back the cheer. Send my a free lunch for the birthday a 600 mm sandwich with a free coke! Saw the greeting from brother early Henry on my faceline. He is again earlier!
Thank you folks for attending the dinner and making both the indianboyfriend and Sarge Wen birthday memorable. On thw way home, mybakuteh whispered that I have a postcard pressie coming - the BIG one.
Well back to normal life. The flood lights at COMO were fixed and now it is ready for the tenant's BBQ. Wah the electrician gave certificate also- no wonder so expensive.
Then it was home creation for mybakuteh - flourless and eggless cakes for Hannah.
Xian tasted them and said they were good and there was a special market in Perth for them. But alas, you need a certificated kitchen and a $1 product liability insurance before you can sell!
And more coconut jelly. Don't but the cocos from Canning Vale Markets they are not ou ta but lau yah... old coconuts with flesh as thick as leather!
But the jelly is heavenly.
Uncle B has regained his sight...He is now Uncle C... Hmm.. hope there will be sweeping changes to that out of date place, now he can see better. We were impressed with his twin in Melbourne. Let's C... I mean .. see.
Hurrah the weather's sunny for the whole of next week! Time to go to Araluen to see the tulips!
