The Sun is back!

Ha!Ha! There was a window of sunshine yesterday and we quickly zoomed down to the nursery to buy the apple plants. Wah... nursery got so many plants - cherry, blueberries, peaches and what have you. Any all blooming very well. Any way got two apples plants  - Dorset apple and (H)anna variety. Alamak - car too small and by the time we got back, one quarter of the flowers and leaves have been sheded.

This kind of plant is bao chiat one. Stick it to the ground and you will have apples in January! No need to wait for buds and flowers.
Meanwhile the electrician went to COMO to fix the floodlight. Alamak - called and asked where the main switchboard was. Said it was outside the house but no where to be found. Then  called Lins and was told it is located on a shared basis at the front house. Hmmm all this delay and confusion resulted in another half an hour of labour charges slapped on us!  Naughty electrician despite he quoted a fixed price.
The evening was well spent at Langford playing with Hannah. Despite being a little sick, she was Miss Smiley throughout! Learned something new though. When she played with the joystick, the stern Grandpa said no. Then her countenance changed to a sad look and in a minute she started crying nonn stop for a few minutes. As her Mummy commented rightly, she has to learned what can be and cannot be done. But all this passed, and she was soon back to smiling again. Oh yes, Hannah can now walk holding on to her Daddy's one finger!!!! We left after having a delicous plate of mee hoon cooked by Kin and a potong ice cream treat!
