Perth Best Kept Secret

We are given a dinner treat by Sarge Wen  & Angela last night. It was truly an unique dining experience. Have to book four weeks ahead as the chef cooked only one meal for dinner but what a meal for a Japanese feast. A Seven course dinner that slowing build up to a wonderful fullness.
First some appetizer as we waited for Angel's delightful Japanese friend whom I suspect she brought also as an authentic food critic!
The second dish was pork goya dipped in vinegar sauce but the food was so good that the indianboyfriend forgot to take a shot. When he asked Sarge Wen to take one from the other table, he chickened out. So bo bian, the indianboyfriend has to draw it.
Then the smooth egg cake in all its delightful flavours.
Three varieties of sashimi were served - king fish, salmon and scallop. The scallops were dripping with sweetness.
And a close up of the salmon sashimi
Think this is the best serving - sushi. Not just rice and fish but with all the glorious flavours to entice your tongue.
Ha!Ha! Not desert if you are a pelbian... it is a sorbe which is a pallete cleanser to prepare you for the main course.
And if your palette is still stained with the after effects of the delicious flavours, here is the miso soup to do a second cleansing.
The tempura. At this point you should be filled to the brink/
And the grand finale... the desert... Black sesame ice cream with strawberry.
And after this is pay up and make the next booking!
Verdict? Hmm if an analogy can be used, it is like eating yellow yellow Mao Sun durians on the street. You see this place has no ambience. No Japanese deco and the heaters are not working. If they throw out the tables and put in some low tables with tatami mats, gabbed the waitress with a Kimino and put a head band on the shelf and some door curtains with Japanese words, think they can increase price by 30%. It was an unique experience. Three Chinese, one Korean, one Japanese having fine dining in not so fine ambience with food cooked by a Myammr cook! Ni shuo qi Kuai bu Qi kuai!
So ended yesterday as a blessed day from the Lord. The COMO tenancy contract was concluded and signed off! But before the tenant occupied the place, we harvested a bag of large lemons to give to our nice Aussie neighbour accross the street who cut our grass! She was delighted with the lemons and also two bak chung which we added to the bag!
